Relax & shop during a weekend at the Docks Vauban
From €48.50/pers.*
The Docks Vauban were the first French warehouses to be built in an English style in 1846; they were used to stock merchandise such as coffee, cotton or spices. They were extended throughout the years and now illustrate the outstanding architectural heritage of Le Havre. This prestigious legacy of the maritime past of the city is actually the only historic urban ensemble to have survived the destruction caused by the war.
The strength of the Docks Vauban lies in the collective mind which was always nourished with images of the high seas, from the Caribbean to the Strait of Magellan; the “Quai des Antilles” is a reminder of this glorious past thanks to its name.
The existing buildings and the layout of streets and paths have been kept. Metal, glass and other translucent materials associated with the wood and bricks of the 19th century warehouses make this shopping & leisure centre a lively and colourful place enjoying plenty of natural light.
The Docks Vauban will soon become one of the favourite places of the inhabitants of Le Havre but it is only the first step of a large project of regeneration of the Docks neighbourhood.
We invite you to spend two days at the heart of the brand new shopping & leisure centre of Le Havre.
Shopping craving? Then why not browse around the 60 shops of the centre?! Feeling hungry? Fancy having lunch with family or dinner with friends? Choose among the numerous restaurants that will offer you a warm welcome in the beautiful surroundings of the Docks Vauban; if the weather allows it, you could even eat at the terrace on the “Quai des Antilles”!
Need to relax? Then go enjoy a day at “les Bains des Docks”. This aquatic complex was designed by the renowned architect Jean Nouvel who was inspired by Roman baths. You can enjoy 2 different areas: leisure & sports pools, balneotherapy.
Then, we offer you to discover the ‘Cité Océane” and go on the tour “World heritage or “Sea bathing fashion: Le Havre - Sainte-Adresse” aboard a scenic train.

Offerta fine settimana « Culla dell'impressionismo »
Le Havre, Birthplace of Impressionism
The skies of the estuary, the omnipresence of the sea, the lively port and the startling lights have allowed Le Havre to become the cradle of Impressionism. When Claude Monet painted the outer harbour of Le Havre in 1873 with the figurehead painting “Impression, Sunrise” (the masterpiece that gave its name to the Impressionist movement), Le Havre entered in the World History of Art.
The Malraux Museum has now become an unmissable stop for art lovers; this building of glass facing the sea invites you to discover the first Impressionist collection of France (after the Orsay Museum). Famous paintings by Monet, Courbet, Pissarro, Sisley, Boudin, Renoir or Degas live together and benefit from the wonderful natural light of the Museum.
We invite you to live a unique & breathtaking experience while discovering the panoramas which have inspired the impressionist painters: a flight over the cliffs of the “Albâtre coast” from Le Havre to Etretat; 30 minutes of pure emotion up in the air, halfway between the sea and the cliffs!
* This offer includes:
- One night in a 3-star Hotel in the city centre, double room, breakfasts included (tourist tax not included) (1)
- Visit of the Malraux Museum (2)
- Flight over the cliffs of the “Albâtre Coast” up to Etretat aboard a plane (duration: 30 minutes), 2 participants minimum (3)

(2) Malraux Museum: visits Fridays or Mondays from 11am to 6pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 7pm.
